here’s a quick tutorial showing a simple way to replace tuner buttons. the old buttons on this set of kluson tuners had cracked off, rendering them useless. instead of replacing them, we replaced the buttons. a little glue after they’re set in place and theyre ready to rock for another 50 years. #guitarrepairtips #vintageguitar #rockin #fyp #silvertone #guitar #luthierlife #loothingmyreligion

happy to have had this gorgeous falcon on the bench for @mr_horsepower. we replaced the trem arm, and tried out the new compensated space control bridge from @music_city_bridge. ive always loved the versatility of the gretsch version of this bridge, but intonation was extremely difficult. this bridge helps with that tremendously! 10/10 recommend

Dorothy rides again! @kevinmorby brought his old jag by this week for some TLC and boy did it need some serious love. the rhythm circuit had been rocked into the ground. after drilling out all the old pots (yeah, the were locked to the plate with rust) and replacing them, doing some fretwork and a good old setup, this baby plays better than it ever has. i absolutely love this guitar

our buddy @silktoneamps had been telling us about how dissatisfied he’s been with the feel of his old SG since we met him, some took it upon ourselves to lend him a helping hand. we did a stainless steel refret, made a new nut, completely redid his electronics and deglossed the sticky neck. this thing shreds with @righteoussoundpickups. it’s on its way back to you, my friend!

a few months back, our friend @eadyguitars shot us a line and asked us if we could take on a project for his buddy that wanted a very specific guitar built out. this is the result - an extremely faithful recreation, to the best of our ability, of @eddievedder holoflake tele. i’m really happy with how it turned out and, no, i’m not going to do another one! i’m truly a better man for having done it.

this ‘62 jazzmaster came in for some much-needed love. after a light fret dress, some new pickup foam, a little tuner lube, and getting the wang bar permanently unstuck and refitting the collet, this thing plays and sounds incredible. holy grail stuff, right here.
